Well I have to be honest here girls. I've been busy starting and finishing my other projects that are do in August also. I'm going to try to sit down with my challenge on Monday. I've enjoyed all the peeks and it is fun trying to figure out what is happening with these blocks. Thanks for sharing Jean.

I sewed a bit yesterday and had about another hour or so of sewing before the top is finished! Once this weather cools down enough in the sewing room I will do more sewing!
I have a problem...I don't remember where I put the fabs I sent for the s2t. I have what I rec'd. I have looked and looked, does anyone know which fabs I sent, maybe if I knew what color, I know they are in a safe place in a baggie waiting. I have completed 3 projects which are at the quilters. Now on this project

I pinned a few things today... For the first time in 7 weeks. I need my top to be done in two weeks since we're moving, and DH will be heading up unpacking... Who knows what he would do with my squares?!!

Freaking out!!!! Staring at my squares, can't decide which FQs to add very overwhelmed...too nervous to cut anything...need to step away from the fabric!
I keep saying "i have a plan, i have a plan" .. I pull the squares and shuffle them...they're not falling well question, any border also comes from the allotted squares and fqs, right? Congrats on the ones wrapping up already!!
CQWannabe, you will be fine. I still get that momentary moment of fright when I start to cut, and I've done this challenge every year!
Aliquilt, your entire top has to come from the squares, any bonus squares, and the fq's. Binding and backing are not a part of the allotment.
I re-drew my plan the other day. I'm sure the Astros organization would be thrilled to realize that they paid me to sit for over an hour and design a quilt. I didn't have anyone show up for the public tour, the closet where we keep party supplies was blocked by some corporate event so I couldn't make party bags, and no one was around to give me computer access to do anything. So, I found paper and pencil and drew my design idea again. Much better this time around I think.

• • • Ooh, I finally have some peeks to share. For a while there, I wasn't sure my pattern was going to work, but now it's starting to come together nicely.

Life without quilting is not an option! • • • • • MY Photos • • • • • • ENJOY!
Well that last peek has me stomped I can't figure out what is going on there. I had a bit of a scare with my own but lucky for me I was able to fix it. I have all my blocks sewn now to put them together. I'm still working on a boarder idea, not so common of course. Hopeful to have enough material to cover it. This is really challenging Jean I hope I can make it to August. Which brings me to my next question. When are they actually due again?
Yeah I was planning on working on it today beings its 100 degrees outside but, my mom got admitted to the hospital yesterday for gAllstones so I'll be taking my hand work to the hospital today. I'll try again tomorrow.
I'm quilting mine, but over 100 again today, so not sure how much more I will do the next couple of days... work starts again in 3 weeks though (I am a teacher)... maybe later if I can figure out a way to keep the quilt off my legs (I hand quilt in a hoop)
