Well I have to be honest here girls. I've been busy starting and finishing my other projects that are do in August also. I'm going to try to sit down with my challenge on Monday. I've enjoyed all the peeks and it is fun trying to figure out what is happening with these blocks. Thanks for sharing Jean.

So, now what? I completely re-designed my idea, and now my own fabrics don't want to play nicely! Grrrrr.

Looking at one of the peeks, I saw a fabric and thought, "I have that." Then I realized it's one of the ones I sent in, LOL.

Idea sketched. Need to start cutting. I'm so tired of looking at D*** Jane blocks, so this will be a nice change of pace.

I have looked and looked, does anyone know which fabs I sent, maybe if I knew what color, I know they are in a safe place in a baggie waiting. I have completed 3 projects which are at the quilters. Now on this project

I feel like super aggravated today. Anything I sew seems to be needed to be ripped out after. Argh.....Don't have fabric to waste!

CQWannabe, you will be fine. I still get that momentary moment of fright when I start to cut, and I've done this challenge every year!

Aliquilt, your entire top has to come from the squares, any bonus squares, and the fq's. Binding and backing are not a part of the allotment.

I re-drew my plan the other day. I'm sure the Astros organization would be thrilled to realize that they paid me to sit for over an hour and design a quilt. I didn't have anyone show up for the public tour, the closet where we keep party supplies was blocked by some corporate event so I couldn't make party bags, and no one was around to give me computer access to do anything. So, I found paper and pencil and drew my design idea again. Much better this time around I think.

Well that last peek has me stomped I can't figure out what is going on there. I had a bit of a scare with my own but lucky for me I was able to fix it. I have all my blocks sewn now to put them together. I'm still working on a boarder idea, not so common of course. Hopeful to have enough material to cover it. This is really challenging Jean I hope I can make it to August. Which brings me to my next question. When are they actually due again?
