I'm trying Trapunto but the water soluble thread keeps breaking. I started with my Bernina Aurora 440 QE and switched to my Brother 1500 D but the same problem. After about 10-20 stitches the thread breaks. I use an embroidery needle like the book sais, tried other needles but no results.
Does anyone know why this keeps happening? I'm wearing gloves and it's not that humid here (55), just very hot!

Have you had it a while? Just a thought. Not much experience with it. When used it at a class, they said to keep it in a zipp type plastic baggie. Also the bobbin.

Hope you find an answer. Could help us all.

Good luck.

Thanks STrings, yes I had it for about two years but never used it so it still was in the original package. Yesterday I took it out. I don't use the WS thread in the bobbin.

I don't know if age makes a difference or not. Hope others have a solution.

In the project we were doing, think we had it in the bobbin too. So long can't remember.

Did you try a looser tension?

Don't know. Just guessing.

Good luck and you are welcome. Sorry not much help.
