Just learned that we will be meeting our son in Wheeling WVA this Friday. Does anyone know of a quilt shop I could visit? I checked online, but no shops came up. Maybe there are new shops that have not registered. DH planned for us to meet at Cabala's. There are several stores there, but I'd like to check out a quilt shop. Please help this quilter. ;-} Jslady

I've been to one there, but can't remember the name. I don't think it was actually in Wheeling either, but maybe Warwood? There is a neat Ben Franklin store in Elm Grove (these little towns all run together) that has a fabric department and a really nice artificial flower selection (at least they did when I was there a couple years ago). I'll see if I can get the name of the quilt shop for you.

Thank you JJ. Our Ben Franklin closed a few years ago. I bought a lot of fabric there. Will look up Ben's store in ELm Grove. If we shop at Cabala's, I think DH would let me check out a quilt shop. He's good about that. DIL likes fabric too, so I won't be alone wanting to visit a LQS.

jslady....I live just 15 minutes north of Wheeling and there are no quilt shops in Wheeling. There was one that was open for a short time but it closed. I go to one in PA that's about an hour away. It's about 35-40 minutes from Cabella's. It's the closest one that I know of.

Shawana, I was afraid of that. No LQS to visit.
I guess Ben Franklin will be my best bet. Won't have to drive about looking for fabric. Thank you for the info. I'm anxious to see W Va.
