Lori that is such a cute puppy on the blog. We haven't had much snow in northern IL, but I do love the clean look of it.

On a quilty note, What am I going to do with that challenge fabric? :-P

Sounds like you are hosting a wonderful retreat Lori, I even had fun looking at the Sunday Surprise Cute idea. Hope others check out your blog. Have fun.

I try to go out every 3-4 days to see what's new on the blog.

I finally have an idea for the challenge fabric. I think getting the idea is half the battle!!

So much to do around the area of the retreat, how do you decided if your time is limited?

Gonesew, I have a gmail account (gmail email). If you want users that do not have specific accounts to be able to post, you need to open comments up to anonymous users.

Normally I would say not to do that, but with the blog only being used for a few more months it shouldn't be too bad. You can monitor the comments and only release the ones with signatures, or delete any bad one once a day. Call me if you need help. But not today until after 5, I'm having a root canal at noon, by 5 I should be able to talk.

Good luck DJBrown! I had 2 done and hearing other people describe them was WAY worse than having it done Hope yours is as smooth as mine were.

Ok, I've made it so any of us can leave comments.

Im back! The DDS wasn't as bad as I had heard, but it wasn't what I would call a picnic.

Still tender, and I go back in 3 weeks to finish the procedure. The best part is he is working on a tooth that has a crown. So he is drilling thru the crown and in the end says he will fill the 3 holes just like a cavity. Wait - thats the Best Part??? It should save me a little $ at least.

And on a quilty note: My QOV top is done, I will get a pic of it during the day tomorrow to post.

I've had a couple root canals in my day - I would rather give multiple births!

Again we didn't reach 13 so, again, no prize this week.

Really? It's that slow? Here I've been trying to answer as soon as I can on Sunday because I thought that everyone would be playing. There is a lot to do in the area. I don't live that far away and I'm surprised at all there is to do. How do we have time for classes and other retreat activities?

Well, I think I found the answer but I don't have a gmail account any longer and don't want a new one. I won't post what I found so that someone else can find it I do read what is there every so often but since I don't have one of those accounts I don't post anything You may be getting more traffic than you realize.

Just what ARE the retreat activities? I haven't located a list anywhere, so it's rather difficult to plan anything else yet. Is there a link?

I have the link for the blog, but I haven't seen a list for the "activities" - i.e., a "schedule". Is there one?

Elle - et al...The "activities/agenda" won't come out until probably April or May.

Are you not able to get to the blog, the "site" isn't working, not able to log into the site or is the trip planner not working?
