What a surprise!!!, Thank you Nickilee for the wonderful gifts. I just walked in the door from my vacation time with my DH and had to get to the mail first thing. Okay I know I'm a day early, but it must be Oct 6th somewhereSmile
I will post a pic a bit later after I get things put away. Here is a list of what was in my package: A beautiful cq block just waiting to be embellished, perle cotton (various colors, yummy fabric squares, measuring gauge, silk ribbon, small bag with embellishments, an assortment of lace motifs, a book on cq stitches and a very pretty tin to keep them all safe. Are you trying to get me hooked on crazy quilting?

Thank you again, I love everything. Hugs, Dianne

Here's the pic of my gift, still enjoying going through everything.

Thank you NickiLee.

I want to say thank you to McPatches for the great birthday box. What a treat it was to go through everything. McPatches sent me three packages of beautiful trim, Crazy Quilt playing cards, a box of Holiday fabrics, a summer bouquet ribbon embroidery box kit, a piece of sheer white fabric with gold, a beautiful piece of gold and white lace, assorted crocheted doilies and trim, three pieces of black organza with various applique, Victorian Crazy Quilt Ornaments pattern, Crazy Quilt
Tree Skirt pattern, needle and pin guide leaflets and last but certainly not least a beautiful wall hanging with thmbles and it was quilted by Jayardi. Jayardi your quilting is unbelievable. I just can't believe your talent.

Again, thank you so much for my gifts I just love them. I will take pictures as soon as my battery charges.

LOL Joy, happy birthday to your DD's! Kids sure have a way of aging us, don't they? Smile

Thanks for the b-day wishes! I am having an awesome day!

I opened my box from Quilter Jen and am totally blown away! Girl, you know me!!! LOL First I found a tea wallet with some great tea bags inside, 2 wonderful red cardinal things; a card holder and a wool ornament (love them!) all wrapped in a gorgeous FQ. Next I opened a bag of almond M&M's~ yum!!! Yummy The next little gift was wrapped so cute I couldn't imagine what it was~ a bundle of 10 inch squares of 30's solids! Just wonderful! There was a 'button tin' filled with my favorite thread. Smile The next thing I unwrapped was a travel mug that has an adapter so you can keep your drink hot in the car~ what a cool idea! Then I unwrapped two new to me books, and both look really interesting. I can't wait to sit down today and read through them. The one is a lesson book in color and Jen had no way of knowing this but I know one of ladies who was a 'student' in it! How cool is that?! The other one is birds and I just love every project I peeked at! I saved the best for last~ a fabric roll.... see the next photo! Jen, I am just speechless! Thank you!!! (hugs)

Hooty Hoooooo !!! Happy Birthday to me Smile

I got home from Charlotte yesterday afternoon but had to work at 5. As soon as I got home from work I ripped into my box! Thank you so much Pat (Timecard) ! I LOVE everything so much.
I received: Christmas McCall's Quilting Mag that has a CD with 7 Christmas projects on it. Some of Nicki's beautiful laces, 2 more applique motifs, organza ribbon, and another ribbon that I think is handdyed Smile A pill bottle of little oval pearl beads, a handmade purple pincushion (cute !), beautiful purple beaded necklace & earrings (love), 2 little notebooks for my purse (def needed),, a pair of embroidery scissors(!), some rotary blades, a big dark chocolate Orange (yum), some specialty beads that are brown & cream in color and are rocks & shells (did someone tell you that I an dying to do a cream colored cq beach block??? AND, OMG, an awesome cq teapot ornament !! I LOVE IT - I LOVE EVERYTHING !! I couldn't have put together a better present for my own self Smile

Thank you so much Pat for the card and the love & thought you put into my gifts. They are treasures.

OK, I must fess up....there were also some Almond Joy's and Butterfingers but alas, they did not make it through the night !! They made great appetizers for the upcoming holiday foods & sweets I'll be stuffing myself with !

Again, thank you Pat and many many thanks to a precious Nicki for hosting our swap again.

Ughhhh, I can't ever resize a pic for this board. If I ask Denise nicely she will do it for me Wink So, stay tuned.....

Miss Bluesnail, you were just in time! I was getting ready for a trip (Mom's having surgery tomorrow)and I knew I would be gone for a while.
I logged on to mention I would be gone so my ssbg would not worry about why I had not posted and the door bell rang.
Everything in the box was perfect. I love the bags you made.
This is what I got, a big sturdy tote bag with pockets in a lovely red, A small purse. with a surprise inside, beads and charms. Also a snap bag with lots of notions inside. Scissors, buttons and thread. A rope bowl, note cards, note pad, calender ans dish cloth. More beads and 5 Asian fat quarters.
What a generous gift! Loved it all. Wish I could stay home and enjoy it more ( I am really dreading this trip). I am taking my snap purse with me. Perfect for my IPod.
Thank you so much. Beats getting a christmas tree. That was what I always got as a child. The tree would never go up until my birthday and that was always what I got for my birthday. lol Picture to follow.
