WOW! What a fun day today has been! 30x2 is starting out great! After two birthday cakes I can officially say "I am caked out!"

Huntress - I did receive a Birthday Greeting notification from you via American Greeting but they are having problems with their program and have said to try back later. Thank you for thinking of me.

Thought I would post Pat's (Timecard) Thank you to KMouse over here - she had posted on the other Birthday Greeting Thread:

"Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I opened my box this morning to find all my favorite things.

Thank you Kmouse, my ssbg.
I am at a loss for words(which does't happen that often)

A pretty little shoe for my collection was the first surprise. A sweet angel and angel pin, and 2 patterns, one for purse and one for snowpeople. Pink and black tea cup and saucer, altoid box w/ kisses inside. Then there was a pack of glitzy fat quarters in my fav colors pink, purple and green in a butterfly pattern. A box of notepaper in a pretty box and the cutest dress form pincushion I ever saw. She was wearing a pretty little bracelet.
I will post pix next week. You have to see it to believe it.

A big hug for my sister Kmouse.
With love and apreciation,
Pat"

Pat, I know for sure that KMouse has a pretty picture she took of all your gifts as she sent me a peek so maybe she can post a picture for you. Lucky girl - great prezzies!

Huntres!!! It was you!!! Thank you so much for the postcard and the package of pretty FQ's you teased me with in the previous months and THANK YOU for the gifts I received today. I've been trying to post a picutre but no matter what I can't resize them small enough to fit here - strange because I never had a problem before. Rob bought me a new camera for my birthday so once I get it figured out I'll make sure to post a picture of my pretties.

Rae sent me a beautiful birthday card, a pair of aloe socks - never seen these before but you can guarantee I am going to love them - I never go to bed without socks on. 2 balls of beautiful yarns - can you guess what color one of them is - yep, blues! An adorable journal with a picture of a Golden Retriever puppy w/ a crown on her head on the front cover, a yard of anchor red/white/blue fabric (I'll make Lily another bandana out of it for when we go to the beach) and a pretty pink shabby chic mug rug! Thank you Rae - I appreciate your thoughtfullness throughout the year - your certainly had me guessing!

My birthday package arrived today and apple betty was my secret sister!!!! What a nice assortment of things she sent me:

3 kitchen terry towels with sunflowers on them
2 quilt patterns - Tuscan Paths and Spotlight (thanks, Betty, you got 2 that are totally new to me)
a large apple scented candle that I can use on my candle heater (no need to burn the wick!)-my favorite kind
a package of 2 tubes of iron cleaner
a magnet note pad for the fridge in a rooster design
a cute little change purse in browns
2 one-yard fabric packages - one in my favorite black and white, the other in lime daisies on a black background
another one yard piece of fabric - tan background with sewing tools in wild and crazy colors (love it!)
a container from Bath and Body Works of a luscious coconut-smelling hand soap
and best of all - a large package of peanut butter M&M's.

Thank you again, Betty. You picked out things for me that suit me to a T. What a nice birthday gift.

Only a couple more days and we'll have a couple of birthday goils!

SueB - a little birdie told me that your prezzie is on the way so hopefully it'll be arriving soon.

I got a note from KMouse that her SSBG package has arrived... I'm sure she will be a good girl and wait until the 22nd to open.Big Grin

This Birthday year has flown by - only 4 more months to go. I will start signups for SSBG 2013 at the end of September so those that receive a Jan or Feb birthday will have plenty of time to buy/make their gifts.

I have received a box today. I think it is my Birthday Box from my SSBG. But my card came from TX and the box comes from Ontario CA. it has her real name on it. so I have picked 6 that it might be. I will be going out of town tomorrow and be back late Sunday night. so I just have to make it through tonight and tomorrow morning. I think I can hold out till 12:01am on Monday. I think, well I'll try.

Well I’m going to try this one more time.

I opened my package at 12:05am on my birthday. First I need to say WOW I love everything.
I got a bag, a quilt pattern book called Flower pots by Cindy Lammon, 3 green FQ’s, a travel glass with a piece of butterfly material in it, a “Totally Teatime Cookbook”, a teapot pin cushion, a handmade travel kit {with 7 ½” x 5 ½” cutting mat, lead pencil , 3 pencils markers (blue , white, pink), a 6” x 1” ruler, a pair a clipping scissors } with the butterfly material, a scissor lariat with blue beads and a “I love quilting charm on it, and a teapot charm and 2 handmade SBS cards.

My SSGB is Fleur55, I want to say again, I LOVE EVERYTHING! It was the perfect birthday box.

I had to put everything back in the box, so that when DGS age 4 got home from school he could help me open it again, LOL then I wrote this and took a picture and tried to post it, but it keep disappearing, so I hope this one works or I just won’t do the picture.
