WOW! Where did the last year go? With each passing year there is always something that we will all share together - a Birthday!
GUIDELINES:
This swap will require you to mail out only [B]ONE present during the whole year . Your present should be something(s) you made or at least something(s) you know your SSBG would enjoy - Please check the Wish List for suggestions. Your gift(s) should be valued at $25. PLEASE adhere to the guideline of $25 no more, no less to make it fair for all concerned.
Every month I will highlight the Birthdates so everyone will be reminded each month who the B’Day Gals are. You should mail your gift to your SSBG so that she receives it at least a couple days BEFORE her birthday. In your package you will also send her a birthday card and little note letting her know you are thinking of her and who you are.
Each person who receives a gift MUST acknowledge it here on the board and post a picture - if you don't know how, find someone who can do it for you. Share with us all of what you received and who your SSBG was. Please be sure to keep this in mind as you know how we all love to see presents and see the pretties that are made. It might be a good idea for all concerned to take a picture of the gift(s) you mail out just in case the recipient cannot take a picture.
Ladies, I cannot stress this enough - If you change your mind about this commitment for whatever reason, PLEASE let me know before your SSBG's birthday and not the day of. Also, PLEASE be mindful of sending your SSBG a gift that she will enjoy (see Wish List above for suggestions) also I ask that you be considerate and do not smoke around your gift(s).
I would appreciate it if EVERYONE could check in at least every other week - Please DO NOT go MIA! If you do not follow the rules you will not be allowed to participate in the 2013 SSBG. All packages must be mailed out with confirmation numbers and those numbers sent directly to me (well with the exception of the person who has my name - send it to Quiltingnewbie).
PARTICIPANTS: A next to your name means gift received

Nothing at the post office today, DH has orders to get the mail tomorrow while I am at work. I did get my gift from him, I wanted to say I owned a bra from Victoria Secrets, I got two!! lol And my DS got me the Accuquilt GoBaby for Christmas and my birthday, with everything to make the snowmen sets. So it has been great so far. And it is not until tomorrow anyway.

Well I worked night shift tonight, and got home at 11! AND there was my box, from SavedSinner, she was a sneaky one! I got a great tote bag, threads, beads, CQ fabrics, and a great package of darling buttons. One button was a chicken of course. rofl I will have to use that one on a special CQ block. I will post pics tomorrow, but wanted everyone to know my box came and I love it. BTW, the tote is great summery fabrics to make me feel better when it starts to snow here. Thanks Lindsay, I am happy you had me!!

Kentucky Sunshine, could you please send me the real thing......... That cake. Right now I could eat the whole thing as I am a stress eater. (and those are my two favorite things, strawberries and chocolate). LOL
Thanks to you all for the birthday wishes. My husband has been transferred to St. Louis Barnes hospital. He has had a feeding tube placed again because he can't keep from losing weight.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, cakes and songs I got my box today from my wonderful Big Birthday Girl Secret Sister and what a wonderful birthday box it is!
In it were 2 bags of Combos (Yummy!) a yummy smelling candle a bag of treats for my dogs and one for my cat - they all thank you too 2 crocheted dish cloths - now I can dispose of my OLD, dilapidated ones a tube of hand cream that'll fit nicely in my purse a baggie of cq items - yay! and an ironing board cover. Have you seen mine? It is disgusting and embarassing! I was planning to go to Joann's and get some fabric this weekend to recover it! Thanks for saving me the time, trouble and money
It was a great birthday box and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness - Thank you <3This message has been edited. Last edited by: Gonesewin,
