I am going to host the pincushion swap as there is a lot of interest. I did Brinnsmoms last year and got back some great pincushions. I will post a pic later. I am going to set the due date after everyone signs up and lets me know what will work for the majority. I am thinking April 30th or around then if you really want an idea. Each player must make up 1 set of 6 which can all be the same. You can send in 2 sets of 6, but must use two different patterns. You choose the pattern. You will get back 6 or 12 different pincushions depending on how many you send in.
To play, you must sign up and PM me with your real name, HGTV name, address, and phone number.
You must be aware that they have to be recieved by the due date. I will swap them out and send back out within one week of the due date. Any received after that will be returned unopen. If you are purchasing fabrics to make these you may want to pick up a little extra to make one for yourself and to make needlecases for Brinnsmoms swap which she will be hostessing in the near future. Wouldn`t it be fun to have a matching set for yourself? All pincushions must be clearly marked with your HGTV name. They will be mailed in a flat rate box that is priced at 8.95. You must include this amount for return postage. Please include a self addressed priority mailing label. If you do not have access to these, let me know and we will work out something else. When you pack your pincushions, you may think it is a waste of space if yours are small, but remember you have no idea the size of anyone elses.

I hope you are all very happy I was so intrigued I started collecting patterns - then I tried to do a few.....I can't stop stuffing!!! Help, help - these are so addicting. It only took 4 tries before I got one I was OK with. The first two were so very, very sad!!! Looking forward to the next time you do this - maybe I'll have them all ready to go at signup...

Sitting on pins and needles....

I spent the day yesterday away from home and didn`t make it to the PO, so tomorrow it is up to the PO for I am sure some more great pincushions.

Tammy - I'm thinking my box should be there tomorrow. The confirmation only says it left Oak Creek on April 23 - I think because you have a PO Box it won't be updated to be delivered until you pick up. There's probably a slip of paper in your box.

Royalboomer, I think there probably are a few boxes up there too. I know a few have PMed me they mailed last week. I picked mail up on Friday and there were not any there. They all probably got there on Sat. or tomorrow morning. Can`t wait to post more pics and do the swapping on Thursday.
