I JUST BOUGHT THE DYSON ANIMAL WITH ALL THE ATTACHMENTS IT IS THE BIGGER ANIMAL VAC.
I KNOW PEOPLE HAVE ASKED THIS BEFORE BUT.......
SHOULD I KEEP IT....MY VAC BROKE SO WE WENT TO THE STORE AND CAME HOME WITH A DYSON....NOT CHEAP THAT IS FOR SURE AND THIS IS A STRETCH AS FAR AS OUR BUDGET GOES.
I HAVE NEVER LIKED BAGLESS I THINK THEY ARE DIRTY TO EMPTY AND THEY CLOG ALL THE TIME. THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE PRETTY HEAVY SO I WILL NOT BE TAKING IT UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS MY HUSBAND WILL BE DOING THAT. I BOUGHT THIS ONE BECAUSE HE REALLY LIKED IT SO I THOUGHT WELL HECK MAYBE HE WILL VAC MORE OFTEN. ANY INPUT WILL BE APPRECIATED THANK GIRLS (AND GUYS.
I've had a dyson for years as do my 2 DDs. We all LOVE our Dyson. And Yes my DH always runs the vac..
We have the Dyson animal, for at least 6 years now. Love it. We have a dog who sheds a puppies worth of hair every week and the Dyson is still going strong. I didn't think I would like a bagless either, but the canister is so well sealed, that I carry it out to the garbage can to empty and never lose a bit of the dust/hair along the way. It was worth every penny.
This is a personal preference. I have two hoover wind tunnels at home--one for each level. I didnt want a machine that lasted forever. They are going strong after 15-20 years. I bought a dyson knock off at Aldis to use at work--an interior design showroom with pounds of fabric scraps and threads. I thought it would last 6 months--its about 2 years old now and so far going strong. I despise the bagless-touching the dirt- phase of using it.
My daughter got that one for Christmas last year. She is like Rho*, she hates emptying it because of it being bagless.
I saw SIL cleaning her bagless vacuum (not a Dyson) and saw how much she hated the cleaning process so decided I didn't want one either. I purchased a top of the line Kenmore canister and can't see getting anything else.
StepS and his family are on their 3rd vacuum in about 5-6 years. The 3rd vacuum is a Dyson and both love it.
If I had a multi-level home, there would be a vacuum on each level!
Does this hat make my butt look big?
I love my Dyson...especially the bagless emptying. I just carry the canister to the gargage and push the button. No need to touch the dirt. I also have 2 filters so if I need to wash the filter I have an extra so I can vacum. I have a portable one for the quick spills.
If life hands you scraps make quilts
We have a Dyson animal vac and love it. We bought it 7n years ago and it is going stromg. We have a large German Shepherd and a cat. I vacuum almost every day (or at least every other day) and you could knit puppies with the fur I vacuum up, I don't understand why my animals aren't bald! We have an air compressor in the garage and will occasionally take the cannister off and blow out the suction area, otherwise I just take it outside by the garbage can, pop open the cannister bottom and everything shakes out. Love it! what I spent on vacuum bags before was ridiculous.
Debbie, I say the same thing....why isn't he bald?? Emptying the Dyson is a very clean process, much better than the Hoover I had with bags to change.
I have a Dyson animal and love it. I've had it about 4 years now. I used to buy a cheap one every year or so after it died. This costs more but I love it. Easy to empty. The suction is a whole lot better than the others I've had. I even try to vacuum the dog with it-the hose part.
I recently bought a dyson animal and it is a lot lighter than the hoover by a long shot. It only looses suction if the bin is full. I love it. I also bought one of those lint lizzards for the dryer and boy did it suction a lot of lint out of my dryer. I wouldn't have any other kind.
I have a dyson, have had for many years. I dont know how to turn it on though. That chore belongs to DH. He loves it. He takes it apart New years and July 4th for a good cleaning. Never had any trouble with it.
