Here is an oldie but a goodie... I'm guessing 2008 for the year of the swap. I love how it turned out!

I chose turquoise fleece for one step batting & backing. I used my walking foot to grid quilt along the block edges and along the middle strings. This quilt will be donated to Project Linus.

That is so pretty! Makes me want to play with my string blocks. I am not sure if I was in that swap but I have been in several so have many blocks to choose from. Great job!

Great idea on the fleece backing....I may try that on one. I think I did that swap - it may have been the one that got me hooked....we all mailed directly to the "chooser" I think...it was fun getting all the envelopes in the mail.

Thanks for all of your nice comments! And yes it feels GREAT to finally be a finisher. This was UFO Finish #23 for me this year... I'm ahead of my goal to finish one a week. ;-)

I think I did at least 3 of the CYOC swaps back during that time. I still have some 30's blocks and a set of Christmas blocks in my UFO drawer from them.
