I ordered the book mentioned above with Stained Glass in the title from another supplier/vendor and it is on the way. I wish I'd stop seeing things that I like! Anyhow this I bring up because someone mentioned favorite scrappy quilts in another post. The vendor is Laphoop Quilts.

Funny, I'm making some of the Louisana quilt blocks for the Sunshine quilts and you can use the bricks for those blocks also.

Perhaps you fans of scrappy will join in our combo swaps!

Great peek of yours, KC. I don't remember what day terrimae was heading home, but it was great to see her and her sister during the retreat!

Waiting on Miss terrimae. I think they got home late last night. So it may take her a few days to recoup!

OK, here I am. Yesterday was a total loss, brain-wise, but I'm starting to get my act together today. The pattern is.....Fabric Fusion, beginning on page 80 of the February 2012 issue of BH&G Special Interest American Patchwork & Quilting. You'll see it pictured on the cover.

Thanks for patiently waiting for the info. I hope those of you who make the quilt will enjoy it. Big Grin

I found my magazine last night. The pattern is buried in the back, like page 80. The colors they used are not near as pretty as yours. I guess that is why I didn't pay much attention to it. It just didn't attrack my attention like yours. Now I want to try one. I'm thinking maybe batiks.

I'm going to make mine with black sashing and Kaffe Fassett fabrics. But not until later this fall or early spring.

I have dropped most of my subscriptions, but buy magazines in the stores using my 40% or 50% off coupons Smile.

Went to the BH&G site and could not find where they sell the back issues. Kept on looking and found the pictures from this issue and there is a free pattern online for the wall size quilt, which you could certainly make larger by making more blocks.

Hope this comes in handy for someone!

The magazine does show the quilt with dark sashing and fall colors and it looks very nice, so I'm sure black sashing with exciting prints will be smashing!

Lisa, I have dropped most of my subscriptions also. But BH&G and McCall's both have buy one subscription and get one for a friend free. I pay for the BH&G and send one to my Mom. She pays for the McCall's and sends one to me. That way we get them for half off.
