How many have seen the new UBS flash drives shaped like a tape measure, sewing machine, spool of thread and etc? They are so very cute and would make fantastic gifts. Maggie

They're a tad expensive for the size but sure are cute. I was thinking it would be nice to have one for my embroidery designs at retreat.

You had me out there in wonder land for a bit. Those are cute USB flash drives. They can be used in a regular computer. I always attach a charm to my flash drives so I can find them this way I wouldn't have to. That'd be pretty easy to spot, don't ya think?

Thanks Happy Erme for posting the link. Let's my post make a lot more sense to those that hadn't seen them. Yep they do seem a tab expensive, but a person would not need a lot of them. Would make a great gift for a friend that sews and has a computer or sewing machine that accepts USB drives. I use USB drives a lot in my machine. Computer is just to far from sewing machine to hook up direct. Maggie

Noticed my fingers got crossed. No wonder you were a little confused paus. Sorry about that ladies.

I have a gazillion flash drives (my kids called them nerd sticks in h.s.); haven't seen these, but I like the retractable, that way I don't lose the cap.

Those are cute - that's about the normal price for a flash drive isn't it? I haven't bought one in a long time. I really should learn how to use my embroidery machine. I have a bunch of designs on my computer that I could put on those drives...hmmmm

WHAAAAHOOO Went to my local quilt shop today and they had just had a delivery a few minutes before I arrived. In the box were several of the new USBs. I had to purchase the tape measure stick. The thread and sewing machine are also cute, but my favorite is the tape measure. Maggie
