Nice blocks everyone. This month seemed easier to me, just lay it all out on the table, then leave the room for a while and come back and look, just to make sure all the points are pointing correctly. LOL I had mine backwards.
July seems to be slipping away from me finishing my third and final baby quilt needed for baby shower on the 22nd. Once again I'll be seeking in under the wire with my block.
Here is my July Red, White and Blue block. I think I will be able to do two cot sized quilts for Quilts of Valor or QWL when finished. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Chlynn1129,
Would love to catch up, but very little sewing time this time of the year. Between the StT Challenge and the Caring Quilter items, not getting to these BOM blocks.

Patty J, sistersue, Chlynn, and SDgranny... Your blocks are all lovely! Love the asian prints...not something I use much of so is nice to see these and how they look with other fabbies. Love the RWB block Chlynn...again...not something I use much of but I do think this made a striking block. Humbled by your plans for your RWBs...very nice. SDgranny...your sunflower and autumn colors are very pretty.
Sure will be fun to see everyone's finished quilts!
No I was glueing (spelling?) I might get to the BOM next week, I'm not sure yet. I know I'm behind 1 1/2 block by now I do what I can but I'm not in the mood for quilting or sewing right now.

Anael- if you go back to the June BOM, I am sure you can find the directions. Hope you will be able to find it, because your blocks always look great and you don't want to be missing the June block to complete the quilt at the end of the year. Good luck. Sue

I did find the June BOM. I still have to write down the instructions for the small blocks, I already downloaded the directions for the main block. So I have to do a search for the thread again.

Gorgeous blocks DGD will be here a little later and tomorrow so I'm hoping I can finish up July then. At least the main block. I have all the components done but still need to make the rows and sew them together. It has been storming off and on the past week - just when I think I might be able to work on it I have to unplug everything and move stuff in case the basement floods again The dehumidifier sure has been getting a workout.

DGD is here - she borrowed a pattern from me last week - now she brought it with her to help her make it We didn't have any Peltex so had to go buy some of that. Now we're recuperating from lunch and then we'll go down and get it started. So much for sewing on "my" block I do so like working on projects with her
Finished this month's block - whew! I incorporated a few of the Sylvia blocks I had done eons ago in place of the small blocks shown. Camera is charging - I must have not turned it off the last time I used it I'll post the pic when I get home from work tomorrow. This message has been edited. Last edited by: royalboomer,

Beautiful block everyone!! I am not going to make the July BOM deadline just too much else going on. I did finish 3 baby quilts this month, back to BOMs next month.
You guys crack me up - since I didn't finish until a couple of days ago I never even thought to look at the first page I have been "first page" quick only once this year
