Today I met up with Barbara Douglas the author of a great new quilting book,"Singular Sensations". She was in TC meeting another author friend,Ramona Wood,"Now Caitlan Can" & others.Barb belongs to the Yahoo Janome group I do and we have emailed on a few things.I hope to bring her to my Guild for a program. What a terrific person she is,it was fun. Her book takes the Square in a Square block and uses it in 13 different settings in the book but she has about 22 of them. Connecting Threads has her book on sale and you can see some of the pictures in it..Such fun if you are looking for a new idea. Funny, I used this same block for my little "Box of Chocolates" a couple years ago. Love the block.Always nice to meet another quilter...

Looks like a cool book and quilts. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it. And when I would have time to do one!
