This one, in case you haven't guessed, is about the holidays. Whatever it is you celebrate, I want you to make something just for the season. Go find that pattern you've been wanting to try or finish a holiday UFO. Make a stocking for that new grandbaby or a treeskirt, or a You skirt!
Do whatever you want, whatever size and shape you want with whatever materials you want but it has to be holiday related. You have until October 19, 2012 to have the finished pictures and the story of how/why you did what you did to me. Please send everything to lsuchomel at verizon dot net.
Oh - you have until September 1 to sign up. Send me $5.00 for prize money and as soon as you do you may get started PM me for my address if you don't already have it. or you can send it via paypal.
This challenge is open to EVERYONE whether you've participated before or not. The winner will receive $1 from all other entrants Any points you get from the voting will go toward the final points tally and the remaining money collected will be given out according to points totals.

Sorry but I'm out. I never even got near finsihing my last project due to my shoulder injury. Surgery is set for next week so I'll be out of commission for a while - I'll just sit on the side lines and watch all the pretties being made. Have fun!

I'm sorry I missed this. I was pretty much off the board all summer and Jayardi just 'told' me about this one. I love Christmas and would have loved to enter this one but I'm still behind on so many things at this point so I guess it worked out for the best. I hope to be up to speed and sewing again by mid-October so will be looking for other challenges during the winter months. Good luck. I can't wait to see the results.
