Deadline for signing of for the 4th Annual SSSS is Monday night at midnight (Oct 15th). I will soon be matching up the list of participants for the 2012 Secret Santa Stocking Swap. It is now time for us to start thinking about what we will all be putting together in our stockings. I would like for everyone to chime in and let us know what your SSSS Wishes might consist of. *****PLEASE copy (print) out this list so that it will be easy for your to refer to once you get your SSSS's name.***** I would appreciate it if every one who signed up for this swap make their Wish List and post it here in order to give your SSSS some ideas as to what to send you in your stocking. Ok, I'm not going to answer every question, but I will try to hit the highlights.  I am allergic to strong scents and smoke. I used to love candles, but the scents got to me. My friend has battery powered candles and I loved the look without the smoke. I don't drink coffee, but love tea. Any tea. I embroider and love doing redwork or really any handwork. We put up trees.. this year I am going to put a small one in the kitchen with red ornaments and red cardinals on it. I love red cardinals. I also collect state thimbles and small turtles. I have both Santa's and snowmen for decorating. Gutterman thread is my favorite, with Connecting Threads thread a close second. I love King Tut for machine quilting. Love dark choc or Malou's toffee.  LOLI am sure anything my SS makes for me, I will love. My favorite colors are red/white, B/R/W, B&W. I also 'collect' batiks, CW fabrics, and anything autumn. Okay, here's my wish list. Beads – would prefer glass beads in greens, blues and golds Books – I prefer historical romances and my favorite authors are Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux. Candles – No thank you. My niece is a Gold Canyon distributor. Have so many candles I already don’t use. Candy – KitKat, Skittles, Almond Joy, Mounds, Butterfinger, to name a few Chocolate – prefer milk and white chocolate, but will eat any! Nuts are okay. And while regular is okay, sugar-free would be great (I’m diabetic). Collections – I collect vintage broaches and dolls (any size, shape or material as long as not creepy). Fabric – any non-holiday fabric would be nice. I like fat quarters, 5” charms, 10” charms, and jelly rolls, too. I do like 30’s and Orientals the best. Gift Certificates – Would prefer JoAnn’s, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby 6-1/2 inch square ruler (I have the 12-1/2 in and several others, but I’m missing the 6-1/2 inch for some reason) Surprises! Anything that you think is unique and interesting. Surprise me! Thread – I like Gutterman and Madeira Yarn – any color, any type (I like to experiment with new things). If cost effective, 2 skeins/balls would be good. Anything hand-made. I love using things that I get in my stockings each year, and look forward to new things. Here goes nothing. I am easy to please. I do a lot of paper piecing in my quilts. I need to add to my quilt helpers -- eg: 9 1/2 in. square ruler for sizing. Replacement blades for my roller cutteres. I love batiks. My favorite colors are blues, purples and greens. I do beading, cross stitching, crocheting, plastic canvas, Huck weaving. I have a shopping bag full of DMC so its the canvases I need to get. I do love chocolate -- especially Reeses peanut butter, butterfingers or hersheys. Any additions to my stash will be a welcome thing. I hope this helps. As far as gift certificates -- anything from JoAnn's or Herrshner's would be very welcome. I cook and Bake. I am a machine quilter. Love Winter Season and Christmas. My machine is a Singer Quilting machine, I love decaf teas -- eg: Lemon Zinger, Raspberry, Peach. Please let me give you a little info about myself using those questions. LOL Im not much on reading, cooking, baking or gardening but I LOVE to sew, craft and make projects. I would love anything you make in any colors or patterns to make things myself. I am not particular, recycling is just fine. I have never CQed but I love paper piecing. I like trying new things from kits, etc. I collect pin cushions. Im not allergic to anything. I like bracelets. I have a Christmas tree with sewing related ornaments. I am open to anything new that I havent tried or old things that I have done before. I like handwork. Surprises are great. I am not answering all the questions, but here are a few ideas- These are items I do not need- candy,coffee, tea (because I don't drink it), perfume,no crazy quilting or poinettia fabric. I read suspense romance,love all the sport teams in Wisconsin, use gutermann thread- all colors,love the color blue, lime green, anything that has bright colors. Currently my fabric of choice is blue Stonehenge. My favorite color combination is gold/black or red/black. All my rooms are neutral, but I hang small wall hangings to brighten up my rooms. I am left handed and Pat says I do everything backwards. LOL I own a Husqvarna Viking Topaz and shop at our LQS (Sew 'N Save) I listen to 50's, 60's, and 70's music. Also love Irish Rovers and Celtic Thunder. My candle scents are cinnamon, spice, pumpkin and apple pie. I wear colorful crew socks like (Holiday socks, bright color socks). I love anything that is homemade. If your quilt shop has a quilt pin, I would love that. I do collect shop pins when I travel, if they are available.I do put up a tree and use old fashion ornaments ( Thomas Pacconi). Hope this gives you some ideas. Don't want to be the last person to write my wishlist. Here are a few things about me. I don't drink flavored coffees or teas, love the way they smell when I make them for DH. I love bright "happy" fabrics, fall fabrics, mottled fabrics. I don't crazy quilt or make jewelry. I make a lot of bags and totes that I have fun with. I pick up patterns for totes/bags almost everytime I go to LQS. I have more patterns than I probably could ever make. LOL I decorate for Christmas and set up a Christmas village every year. I could always use some more accessories for the village. Lamp posts, people, the little things that make the village come alive. I collect dated ornaments and love all things homemade. Things I like are threads, needles for the machine. Embroidery needles, I use Guuterman thread. I have a Viking Designer SE and love it. If Embroidery Library has gift certificates I love their patterns and all the ideas that are on there. I love cooking and baking, country music, 50's and 60's music. My favorite (and only) LQS is Sew and Save of Racine, Wisconsin. This should give you a lot of hints about me. I'm sure that anything I get in my stocking will thrill me. I'm wishing my Secret Santa happy Holidays and most of all to have fun with my stocking. Pat PS I just wanted to edit my list. It's cooling off, and leaves are falling, so, holiday time is coming. I'll add some ideas, tho basically I'm eclectic; anything goes, so have fun. Recycle is fine and can be an adventure, such as vintage blocks. No books as use the library regularly. Any quilt magazine, but more fun ones rather than complex. Other hobbies include beading/gemstones. Any food/drink item is fine, dark choc, nuts, caffein, flavored teas or coffee,. Brighter, clean colors are great; any coordinating. I like to use whatever I receive, (eventually!). Guterman thread, light colors. I do CQ, so sharing of goodies is fun esp. ribbons; embellishment items are appreciated. No allergies, no pets, fun jewelry (brooches, bracelets). right handed, on-line shopping mostly for FQ, no particular favorite sites. No music, listen to classics. Have a small tree; traditional ornaments and colors. Small kit, perhaps wool table topper type if price is right. Handmade is super. Oh WOW! I'm at the head of the hold uplist. Sorry for making everyone wait! Don't read many books, but favorite quilt magazine is the AQS one. I collect thimbles, love to bake and have mixed feelings about cooking. Do like sweets, especially dark chocolate and also like nuts to snack on. House is primarly in earthy, fall colors. Decorate in the regular Christmas colors for Christmas - green red gold - and have a smallish tree since we also have two minature dachshunds who would not leave a tree alone if it sat on the floor. Love batiks, orientals, marble type fabrics. Used to crazy quilt, but lately have lost hand coordination which has caused me to cut way back. Use candles (especially a good pine scented one) and scented body lotions. Gift certificate? We don't really have quilt shops around here, but do have Joann's and I love Thousands of Bolts. Since I am learning mid-arm quilting with an 18" machine, would appreciate pantographs or any other long arm notion. Do not drink coffee and not much tea unless I have a cold.
