...good morning .. please add: FLEUR55 - first timer and City/Sandie - 2nd timer. Dianne is on a getaway with her DH ... not hooked up to a computer! thanks
I cannot change 'things', but I can change how I feel about them. Me.
I signed Mother up for the Charlotte COF and Branson COF. She requested I do so, since she isn't always comfortable with the computer.
Today, I checked my e-mail, and she told me she had already signed us both up for the PA COF. She's 88 now.....I had forgotten the date (I'm 59).....she remembered AND handled it beautifully!! Thanks Mother!!
We both have enjoyed ourselves so much at the last 2 retreats! I probably would never have gone on my own, and I'm so happy Mother agreed to go with me. I must admit we were a little worried about going to our first retreat, in Charlotte.....you know, only knowing people from the internet, not anyone personally. (Are you crazy?! There may be an ax murderer among them!!) [We met lots of rotary cutter users and chocolate addicts, but no ax murderers!]
It's funny....you have so much fun at the retreats, and meet so many wonderful people, that you kind of have withdrawal the week after retreat!! Miss y'all and look forward to seeing "old" friends and meeting new friends, in Harrisburg.

Just a note your "Remaining part of the fee line with the date January 31, 2012" needs to be changed I think. Quilter ChrisThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Quilter Chris,

It doesn't look like she is to the waiting list just yet. Lori moved the names around, grouping some of the names into categories. The ladies at the bottom with a * after their name have been to all six COF Retreats so far, and the ladies above them with the after their name are first timers for the COF Retreat.
So exciting to see all of the names go up so fast!

Okay, I'm jumping in for my first COF retreat. I couldn't make it to Bransom, but since this is in the summertime, it just might work.
New to this site. Thank you Anne. Please sign me up. My registration is in the mail. Can't wait!

Finally, just as I was going to sign up about an hour ago, my computer froze! Please add me to the list. I hope there are still spots available. Thanks!
Oh you gals are going to have so much fun. Lori is such a fun loving person, creative too. Sue and I had a Blast in Branson, so we are sure you all will have fun in PA. Pat
I'd also like to add my daughter Emily, if there is space. She said she'll help pay for herself! Not bad for a kid! She will make a board name tonight. She's gone to a cross country meet right now, but for now we can call her "Peanut". That's my nickname for her. This message has been edited. Last edited by: ilovemy4kids,
peanut? she really wants to be called peanut? How old is she? will she be a retreater or a guest?

I think she will pick something other than Peanut, that's just what I call her, but she won't be here to pick a name till tonight. I didn't think about her being a guest. She's 14 and we love to sew together. She would want to be with me "mom" in classes and such. Plus she'll need to eat with me,and I wouldn't leave her home alone at the hotel room, so she'll be attatched to me, or the group, pretty much, so I just assumed she'd be a retreater.

Magnolia and Mom, What a joy it is to have you at the retreat with your mom. It would have brought me great joy to do it with my mom. You (both) are so special.
Happy Stitching...Lois
