Don't forget to move your Yahoo photos before they disappear before your eyes! Big Grin

I am trying to select the site with the least advertising! Wink

    Question:
If you have already moved your photos, which site did you select? What features do you like/dislike?

    Choices:
    Flickr
    Webshots
    Shutterfly
    Picasa
    Photobucket
    Snapfish
    MyPhotoAlbum
    Picturetrail
    Kodak Gallery

DS - I already had an account at Snapfish. I did it yesterday, just required a few clicks - very easy and Snapfish did the rest!

I moved my yahoo photos to Flickr because they were taking care of it.

BUT my real photo storage place is webshots. I've been a webshots member for years. I LIKE it and have 1000's posted there. Yes I'm a paying member.

I moved mine to Photobucket because it seemed the best of the choices to which Yahoo would make the move for me.

I moved my photos to Kodak Gallery. I already had an account there since a lot of my friends use that to send their pics. The hubby sent his to Flickr so I'll get to compare the 2.

    myphotoalbum.com is where I landed.

    so far so good!

I can create one album and have many folders under neath that. The quilt album curently has three under it. There will be more in the future.

Check it out! Can create your albums in many different free ways and of course, there is always the option to buy thier other styles as well.

So timely! I haven't moved mine because I can't decide where to move to...

On all of the site mentioned above - can you move the whole collection, or do you have to do it one at a time?

the ones listed on yahoo are done with a click, most I beleive, mine, I just created new albums with the photos I have on my computer as they stand. I don't have that many I share, i keep personal on cd's so I don't have that many to "store" in the cyber world, they are basically what I share here.

KGinCA I believe you can with Flickr - it is a Yahoo program.. I moved several from my 'home storage' to photobucket which I had started a long time ago to get my avatar. Works for me and the things are easy to see .. check mine and see what you think of the way it shares ,, and if you see any problems would you let me know? TIA.

I just found out something about Flickr. You are only allowed to have three sets before you have to "upgrade" (slang for "pay" , LOL! Big Grin It's $24.95 per year to upgrade.

I think I'm going to shop around for a site where I can upload more photos and have more different sets (slang for "albums" Wink) without paying.

I also played around with Picasa as it was recommended by a friend, but it looks too complicated for me. Smile
