Okay, y'all, here is the official announcement.

Our COF 2013 hostess will be our very own Gonesewin'. She will add details later on about our trip to Pennsylvania.

I really do not want to hijack all of the COF 2012 information, so please keep the chatter to a minimum until after we are in Branson.

Just to let you know how this works now.

The committee that "vets" upcoming hostesses is made up of previous hostesses. Here they are:

2007, Eagan, Minnesota: NeicyMN
2008, Houston, Texas: Needlecrazy
2009, Manchester, New Hampshire: Nickilee
2010, Portland, Oregon: Pegsami
2011, Charlotte, NC: Quiltaholic
2012, Branson, MO: SavedSinnr

If you want to be a future hostess, we ask that you have attended at least one previous retreat. You need really great organizational skills, and the ability to recruit a great group to help you with all of the details. I know that I speak for all of the previous hostesses when I say that we could not have pulled off the amazing fun times we've had without all of the people who stepped in to help with all sorts of tasks.

So, if you think you want to do this at some point, please PM any of us on the committee. Past hostesses are up for comments. Lindsey has her hands full with Branson COF right now, so please let her do her awesome work and let the others handle any questions.

I can truly say that there is not a nicer group of people around than the quilters on this board. I am so very honored to be a part of this forum.

Sounds like this will be a great retreat, too. Something to think about. I know that I appreciate all the work that goes into a retreat to make it a fun filled event. Thanks to all for doing this. Pat

I have a great team of ladies and we hope to have a fun time!

All I will say for now is that COF 2013 is scheduled for June 21- 23, 2013 and will be in Harrisburg, PA.

We'll talk more after BRANSON!

I love the fact that it is summertime. I can spend a week before and a week after sight seeing because I have never visited that part of the US before. I have just cut a hole in the top of my fruit jar lid to start catching all the extra pennies around.

I will be retired by then and am so excited. It will be my first COF retreat and am so looking forward to it. I twill be my third retreat provided I make ti to the fall retreat my guild is having. I attended my first one this spring and could go on one every month if it were affordable. I had a blast. What a way to get a lot of "work" done and have a blast while doing it.

Woo Hoo!! Looking forward to another summer COF. I haven't hosted something like this myself but have organized other functions in the past so I have at least a small idea of all the work that goes into it. You ladies rock!
