Already! Time to get out your seam rippers and prod your inner designer awake. Tonight, they try to make something to please Nina. As we've seen on previous episodes, good luck with that!!

Those "designers" (and I use that term loosely) had better learn that you have to get along with the people you work with, whether or not you agree with them, if you have to get a project done on time! Can you imagine any of them acting that way in a professional setting?
I did not like the winner. Looked like the neck was swallowing the model, and that zipper in the back... Well, I've torn out zippers that looked better. All it really had going for it was color.
It was interesting how they edited out a lot of shots of the clothes in the workroom. We didn't even get a glimpse of most of them til they were at the photo shoot, and then we really didn't see them til they came down the catwalk. I actually liked the black/white/print group, including the "fighting puppies" dress. One proper undergarment & they could have told those puppies to SIT and STAY!
Didn't understand how the black/blue colorblock dress wouldn't be appropriate for the office. Add a jacket! Did anyone else find themselves looking intently at the little space where all 4 blocks met, wondering if Dmitry staggered seams & locked in that intersection properly before sewing? I got kinda dozey towards the end. Personally did not care for the winning dress-neck way too high. Interesting show though..I think they showed more actual construction which I liked. More of that and less drama and language would be fine with me.

did anyone notice the multicolored skirt? There was something strange about the right side of it, something fuzzy was sticking out. I think they put a lot of the stuff with duct tape, not really quality sewing. I agree, that blue dress was not appropriate "office" attire, would be uncomfortable
The fabric on that skirt had almost a rag quilt effect -- lots of raw edges on those stripes. So it looked like those were strings from frays? I did notice how impractical it looked. My dry cleaner would send it home with all sorts of "Sorry! We tried our best!" labels on the hanger.
I didn't think the ruffled black shirt was so bad. Again -- put it under something? Maybe the judges saw something up close that the camera didn't show.
I didn't get those white pants with the diagonal fold & the one-shouldered top to go with it. A bare shoulder for office attire?
I thought Sonjia's second skirt with the pleat pouch in the front was odd. If you were in the office wearing that, pencils, paper clips, Post-Its, crumbs, etc. could all collect there!
I've seen about enough of Elena's big shoulders on everything...and her big attitude... This is not going to end pretty.

There was a multicolored skirt? Was that the chiffon those guys were using? It frays, doesn't it? Maybe it's a one time wear outfit. Wasn't there an I Love Lucy episode where a sweater unraveled on her? Maybe it's something like that.
I watched the show 2X and checked out a couple of times...apparently at the same place! haha!

The Lifetime PR website has a close-up of the skirt fabric. It looks like strips of pink & black silky stuff sewn down the middle of the strip to a white base? And the edges of the strips are raw. Reeeeeeal practical...
I wanna know how they "lost" that one bag of fabric from Mood!

Oops - forgot to answer that question - yes - it was in the pink & black & white collection. I think Christopher made the outfit? Skirt made of that sliced fabric print on a diagonal, a white shell-style shirt, and a black jacket. He says something on the runway about how the jacket could have been sewn better, I think.
