Happy quilting day everyone lucky for me today is maid service day I use the time when they are here cleaning to sort and organize my fabric. Today I will be trying to find the fabric I need for the next mug rug swap.
I spent part of this morning going through the "loot" I purchased at the Lancaster quilt shows. This afternoon, I plan to work on my needleturn project. DH is making dinner!

The Quilt Show, with Alex Anderson and Ricky Timms, is making shows from their past series available for free this weekend. You can also enter a contest to win a Bernina.
I just watched the show with Gyleen Fitzgerald, who showed how to use her pineapple ruler in one segment, and showed how to sew Y seams in another segment. Lovely show.
And how cool is this!! They are showing the quilt he made for Jayardi's Scraps to Treasures challenge a couple of years ago. He also mentions this board, and talks about the Texas Circle of Friends Retreat, where he met members of this board.

If I sign up for the quiling shows (haven't read it all yet) will I get spam with it. I saw Ricki Timms when he came to Lansing, MI it was one of the most entertaining nights I have ever had and I recommend him anytime he is a delightful family story teller and a pretty good quilter too

I worked on GD's graduation quilt today. Sewing, pressing, trimming and more sewing. Working on the components now but they'll start going together shortly and then the progress will be tremendous, since the pieces are pretty big. No photos yet.
I had to work a long day {yesterday} but plan on working on my 'selvage' tote later today! Hope to have it finished soon and post pic's to the 'stash buster' thread!
It's big enough to hold my cutting mat, extension table {from my Janome 6500 sewing machine} & other quilting stuff when I go to retreats, sew-a-longs & take classes!

Michelle, Good question. I get two emails a week with a small newsletter which usually links me to one free show. The newsletters are welcome to me, even though I usually don't have time for them and delete them quickly. You can unsubscribe easily by going to the bottom of the first one and clicking Unsubscribe. I get no other emails from other sources, so I'm confident that they don't share the info with other sites. I think I've been getting them for a year, since last year's Quilting Day.
By the way, the free shows from Series 1-11 run through today, 3-17. Anyone who misses Alex and Simply Quilts may want to check out a few.
