When I saw your post I thought of something and figured it was already in your post. Could you use it to give some body and strength to a wallhanging. To keep the edges from curling up. Does that make sense to anyone??
Thanks for all the suggestions, after trimming the new blinds in our old house I have about 200 plastic slats!
Patty J - that's a good idea, just encase them in the binding.
nlk - aren't the roman shades gorgeous? Thanks for the links. It's certainly a wonderful solution for replacing old blinds!
Pvillelou - I"m not sure about the snap bags, I flexed a slat a few times and it didn't want to keep snapping back, it creased. The metal ones would probably work great but I have the cheap plastic ones
nancy & KC - you're trying to make me work, lol. no garden here but I'm willing to pass them along in exchange for a few tomatoes, lol.
How about for the 'stay' for thread catcher? Like Sewlove2quilt did for PJ party. I've seen lots of different things used for these...used hose from home use air concentrator, packing strapping, and kitty litter bucket zip strip...to name a few.
