I love your Island Chain..is this pattern available on line or is it in a Jelly Roll book ?
I have plenty of jelly rolls calling me !!!
Oops, I forgot to post to this thread last week. Ah, well, it was just a step backwards since I decided that the cardigan that I'm making was turning out to be too big, so I Frogged it and started over, using the instructions for the next size smaller. This one is going to be a much better fit. I am hopeful that it will finally be done this week.
I am also working on my pincushions for Lindsay's swap. I found a pattern called "biscornu", which is French for double corners. Check out my blog to see my progress on these.
no goals last week (jury duty meant my schedule was very different) .... this week, it's just to have a successful board member meeting here Thursday nite. We're assembling gifts and I need to have all the supplies gathered and a semi-tidy home. One of my teens thinks the whole house is her laundry hamper. I would LOL, but it's not funny any more. I'm sewing a little, but no actual goals. Maybe next week.
QuiltingNewbie- Island Chain pattern is from the book Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett. The whole book is using 2-1/2" strips and squares! You could use jelly rolls or just scrappy strips, like I do!
Wow love the chain link quilt very nice
