Anyone been to quilt shops in Bay City? I have a training for work there in July and it looks like there are a couple shops, one in town. Any been to these? Thank you very much!

Sorry, Shogun, don't often go East. Usually head South to Lansing to Country Stitches.

Fabric fair is definitely worth the stop. They have several rooms of fabric including a couple of discount room in the back. Another place is the Snail Trail Quilt shop---its kinda small though and I wasn't too impressed and probably wouldn't stop there a second time. There is a JoAnn's on Center in Bay City also. I know you mentioned you were looking for shops in Bay City but I have never heard anyone mention this place---Bay View Calico Quilt Shop, it is just North of Augres on 23. I haven't been in there since last summer, but they had a fabulous selection of cottons and batiks. Lots of light prints---shirtings and such. Just thought I would throw that name in.
