We spent the day with DN. Her precious baby Chase Rowland Poyner was born this afternoon at 1:10 pm .....10 lb. 15 oz. Tonight they have put him in NICU with pneumothorax (sp) something about his lungs are collapsing.

Will keep everyone in my P's. May everyone feel his loving arms around them in this time of need.

I have a grand nephew who weighed in over 10 pounds, but was premie. Those bigger babies have a harder time because of the size of their body with those underdeveloped lungs.

Of course we will all keep your family and that dear baby in our pra*yers. Sending a nice hug your way....

Not premmie. He was due yesterday. They knew he was going to be big. His older brother weighed 10 lb 2 oz. They did a ç-section. She and her husband are both over six feet tall and have really big bone structures.

I feel your pain. Will keep you in t&p's. G o d perform miracles. DGS #1 was born with pneumonia and septicemia and was in nicu for 2 weeks. He was and still is a little fighter. We were told not to expect him to live but G o d had other plans. He is now a very robust 12 year old. Miracles do happen. Just beleive.
