To see photo's of the classes check out this post~

Class Photo's

I want to make this as fair as possible for everyone attending retreat, so on this post or in a PM tell me the one class you want to take more than any other.

Next tell me four other classes you would like to learn.

I will do my best to work out a schedule that we can all be happy with.

I will leave the sign-up's open for one week. They will close next Friday, the 27th.

Then please give me another week to work on the schedule and I'll post it as soon as I can, either on the board or in PM's. This will give our wonderful teachers time to prepare before retreat, and you time to collect any supplies you may need. Smile

Can't wait for the retreat. DH says we have under 60 days to wait. He keeps asking when we are leaving, wonder why he is so anxious about us going.????
I'm excited to learn FM quilting, Maybe I'll get the trick to making it look nice.

The classes all look like fun, but I had decided not to take anything this time around...and to rest or visit instead.

But...and isn't there always one of those...I can't pass up on Kentucky Sunshine's class...so my one and only choice is

Quilt As You Go

Thanks for all the committee is doing to make this a great event for all of us!

OK...wow so many choices, and this teacher needs to get her sample pics sent, I promise I'm working on them!

As much as I wanna be like chicky and take everything...I'm going to say my first choice is toryams thimblering

and i would also love to take your octagon table topper class sandie

and jeans free motion quilting...I have to use stencilsformy projects to look nice, although I will give small projects a go free handed, but sometimes they never leave my home, because I'm ashamed of my attempt ...LOL

You gals sure don't show a chicken much mercy Smile

Actually, I figure I'll just plug in where I want and have time... or just kidnap the teacher and take her home Smile

Now I do have a note TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT "UP" TO FREE MOTION THEY LIKE ~~ I was truly SCARED to do free motion because I had made such a mess of things and I would use them as potholders and such... But I took Jayardi's free motion class at last years retreat, and she TRULY helped me conquer that fear I had. I'm ALOT better at it now (altho practice is still needed to get me where I want to be), but I'm not afraid of it anymore.

THANKS JAYARDI! You're a great teacher, and you made it easy for me ....

I LOVE LEARNING FROM OTHER QUILTERS!!!

Since I've been taking the FMQ Challenge this year, I've had a lot of practice and now I have many samples to share. I'm not promising you'll be quilting this well immediately, but it'll will get you started in the right direction.

Here is an example of a simple continuous line.
