Thank you to each of you who took part in the challenge and turned in pieces for the competition. There were others who could not finish for various reasons. I hope they will play again in future challenges when life isnt so hectic.
Please vote on your favorite.
Voting will go through Sunday, January 6th.

how do we vote? Did I miss the post? These are great, I'm sorry there weren't more finishers. I saw this when you were taking sign up and I couldn't wrap my head around the theme to picture a quilt, plus life and my way overdue siggy blocks made me feel like I shouldn't take on one more project.
The first post says to use PM (private message) You were probably excited to see the pictures that you did not read. I know that is what I did look then read.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to cast your vote... The challenges are really nice and it is really an extra plus when the forum takes the time to vote...
I want to thank the ones who finished the challenge and I also want to say they are all 3 winners in my book!... and I know all of your books too!
I have tallied all votes and we have our 1st place winner!
J Lu and her "Unnamed" quilt is the winner of the challenge! Congratulations on a job well done! I will be sending you a special prize in the mail for your winning gift!
I will also be putting a little summpin in the mail for the other two contenders because they worked hard and finished the challenge.
Thank you all again and stay tuned... I am not sure if it will be a challenge or if it will be a new swap... Gotta think on that for a week or so.

We are all winners Thank you all so much it was so much fun. It was a very special quilt to me. I actually received a thank you note yesterday from my sons in-laws who were the recipients of the quilt. They live in Wamego, Kansas the quilt was made around everything in their little town. Even the fabric is called Kansas Trouble. The blocks were all Kansas. She was director of the Wizard of Oz in the town for over 10 years. It was their 40th anniversary present. I didn't even tell my daughter in-law or son I was making it. By the way I named it after the challenge Theresia.

Congrats to all of the finishers!! Fun to see your interpretations. A special congrats to JLu!! Way to go! I lived in Wamego for several years (many moons ago!) and The Wizard of Oz is very big there...celebrations and such. The fabric line, Kansas Troubles, is designed not far from Wamego. Your quilt brought memories to me from days gone by in my life. Thank you!
