The 1st 2 rows I got from Connecting Threads. I got 2 rolls (24 strips each) of the 1st row and 4 jelly rolls (24 strips each) of the 2nd row.
The Blues I got from my local quilt store. They will cut any combination of colors you want. This has 40 strips(2 of each color).

I don't mind coming to work. But that 8 hr. wait to go home is a drag.

Mandy, thanks for answering TcMay's question for me.
Do you all think the blues would look good with a yellow square between them or just keep it blue and white with white squares? I also think I'm going to cut the strips to a 22" length.

Have you seen the strips joined with a diamond shape instead of a square? Really nice looking. If not using a piece to join the strips, I like the ones I have seen that are joined at an angle like binding. Just a thought.

..abbout the strips .... I think yellow might throw it off a bit with all those lovely blues .. maybe a dark navy? You can tell I'm a MONO .... LOL

Strings, would that be like a real short piece of a contrast color cut on the same as the stips (I did mine like binding) so when they are joined it LOOKS like a diamond? I like that idea ...TFS ..

I like both combinations...would depend on the purpose for me. If I wanted cool and restful...just blue and white. With some zip (those are 2 of the 3 primary colors) I'd add some yellow...but not the pale one, I'd use a deeper one.

That reminds me of Myrna Loy in "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" "...not just any yellow...the color of your best butter..." LOVE THAT SCENE!!!
