...My sweet adorable brother (that should be a clue right there) sent me a birthday card - We are from the PNW so the tall redwoods on the front made me think of 'home' .. and it reads "Birthdays always remind of of the giant redwoods on the West Coast. The way they stand tall and proud year after year, century after century. Their majestic beauty never fails to take my breath away."
.....Thank You For Planting Them.... Happy Birthday
I cannot change 'things', but I can change how I feel about them. Me.

The smallest Cross in the corner is the one you put in the room.

*********************************** “May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer.”
I laughed out loud last month when I read this card on the rack. I had to buy it for a friend's birthday. Luckily, she thought it was funny too. Paybacks though.....hmm..

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.

That's funny! Remember the series Wagon Train? Well, I knew my Dad got here on a ship from Italy, but after watching a Wagon Train show where they stopped in Kentucky, I asked my mom if she ever rode in a covered wagon.

Sweet. My grandniece asked DH today if he was 75? You had to be there. The look on his face was priceless since he is only 64.
I can tell you have a wonderful fun loving brother. They are great to have. Mine steals my c h r I s t m a s trees if I don't keep it locked up each year. Never have found a way to get him back.

In order to see the rainbow, first you must endure the rain.

... aaah MeME .. I'm so sorry ... it was so dreadful losing my daughter, I just cannot imagine losing my brother. I can sense your heartache. I wish I could comfort you, hugs are always so nice, <<<>>> I come from a big family of 'Wing Nuts' but I think he and I are the last of the lot .. gotta get 'im ... can't let him have the last word ************** I think this card is especially special as he just lost his wife of nearly 30 years just 1 year ago - she always did the cards and gifts .. he didn't forget. This message has been edited.
