OK now those really are a challenge to find something redeeming in them. Congrats to the winners, You won't be disappointed in your prizes. KC you have made this so much fun even for those of us who are just lurking on the thread. I think Sue is glad she didn't win those uglies because I surely would have made her create something out of them. LOL

Wow, I won for the ugliest fabric. Not sure if that is something I want to have spread around!!!! Don't have a clue where that one came from, some exchange I am sure or in a group and that one didn't pass muster. Actually I thought another of mine might be the winner.
Congratulations to the other winners. Sorry that you got stuck with the uglies, Nancy20.

Thanks... chris

When I first started quilting I made a quilt from the ugliest fabric I could find. Hubbs and I were arguing about something so I made the pattern Contrary Wife and Ornery Husband. I was really mad and tried to put the ugliest stuff I could find together to give to him as a present. But something starnge happened! The quilt got cuter and cuter! And then hubbs liked it and LAUGHED! I discovered that really ugly stuff put together comes out really nice!!!! so ever since then, I've loved uglies!!! So I'm really happy to get them. Smile

It is an elephant made from towels. The housekeepers at the resort we stayed at made them. Everyday when we went back to our room a new animal was on the bed. He was my favorite. One day we had a cobra. YUCK!

Congratulations, to all! Can't wait to see what you do with all of that fabric, Nancy.

Oh, how exciting to have that fabric picked and win a gift card for it. I don't have the foggiest idea where that FQ came from. Sometimes winnings have a way of being recycled. I won some from the ugly category in Branson this year that went home with other people since my luggage didn't have a lot of room to spare.

It has been a fun year, KC. You have made the FQ lottery great and it was always a treat to have your mom joining us!

My gift card arrived today. Many thanks. Think it will wait for the after Christmas sale. Can buy anything I want!!!! Yea!!!!

Nancyc20, I think there is just 1 winner for the month's fat quarters. Since you can only send in so many per month, I think everyone unloaded their uglies and thus very little or none of the others. Sorry... Chris

Shequilts, you won my favorite block book! You'll love the 5500 Quilt Block Designs book. Beautiful yellow and blue fabrics, too.

[Quote from NancyC20...I even have a box of westerns for Dear Roy and Dale!!!...Unquote] Nancy, I'm so glad that Roy and Dale went to a good home. Smile

And a Post-Christmas shopping spree for Chris! What could be better than that!

Congratulations to all the winners. Wave
