Thanks, sue. The lighter lavender is much prettier in person. It has little white dots on it too and they do not show at all in the photo.

Thank you BOMChicks for the lovely red fat quarter you sent me. I love it. I do mostly red, white and blue quilts for military charities and it will be perfect.

Chylnn, very pretty block you got done!
I'm liking each one a lot. Such varied color combinations make this interesting to see how the same pattern can look different.

I haven't done much sewing, except I helped Sister Sue with a baby quilt she is making, but no "me" sewing. I did get some kitchen cupboards and pantry cleaned out. I love that I can open the door now and things don't come crashing down. Today I'm going to sew my chain blocks, ya know I'm on plan X now right???LOL

Thank you all!

Chlynn - I haven't made one chain block yet. I played with many different layouts in EQ6. I think I've finally decided what I'm going to do, since I haven't changed my mind in about 3 or 4 weeks! I wanted to have a few of the blocks done before I really committed myself!

I have finished up all of my chain blocks and love them! This is the first set of chain blocks I have ever made and was quite worried about it. As it turned out, I ended up completely reversing my fabrics on my chains (only made one as a sample and realized this!). I had already cut out all of my chain pieces! So now, I mixed it up a bit and am able to use half of the previously cut out chain fabric pieces and added some more to make my final look. In the process I also managed to make two more sample chain blocks that were both different sizes! I swe@r! The good news is that I do learn with each mistake I make with this traditional piecing stuff!

As I posted earlier though, once my chains were made, I didn't like my BOM fabbies with them and had to change directions with my BOMs. Now I love all of them!

I see that my name hasn't been added to the list of finishers. AND...Malou can be added too! Here's her block! I love it! Makes me kinda want to re-do mine. I had something like that in mind and then went a different way.

Here's Malou's block!

Thanks so much WQFC for posting my block! It's appreciated very much!

I see Chlynn is also not listed yet... that means I'm #18 done (I think). Hope we do hit 20, or more, by the end of the month.

I might have a problem with the next one because I'm doing the monthly birthstones. April is a diamond. What other color besides white with silver sparkles could I use?

Hey Trish! You did it! Once again, your red and white is so pretty!

PatriciaAnne...maybe you can use white in the center somehow. And, like Ann, I believe diamonds come in all colors too. Maybe the gals will cooperate and give us something with a diamond shape in it.

Is tomorrow the day?
