I remember that.....if I were home I could look... You might ask Holee...she was connected to that group...I remember seeing her post pics of hers on yahoo site...

were they red work? B/c I am doing the Camelot snowmen red work blocks from that time.I love snowmen too, so I can figure out why I didn't do this one too!
The reason I wanted to show you all this is I was wondering if you would be up to a Snowman BOM for 2013? I have a plan in the works right now and will give the info in a week or so...This message has been edited. Last edited by: Quiltaholic,

You are correct...it happened to a lot of folks and turned into a huge disappointment for many. She left during or shortly afterward...sorry I brought it up. I just remembered I loved the cottages and the Snow people exchanges.

I made 2 quilts from the blocks in the link. One I gave to Talia for her son and one to Cindy..I don't remember her board name..IthinkIcan..or something like that..she loved snowmen. I also made the January block into totes and walker bags for the Christmas Party at the local nursing home. The blocks were fun to make. Of all the quilts I've made I only kept one for myself and it's not layered yet but I should make another sets of the snowman blocks and keep them this time!
Thanks TMay, actually I'll be shutting down my computer in a few days. Don't know when I'll be back. I have some major surgery coming up. Everyone have a safe and wonderful holiday!
Holee.. The BOM won't be using those blocks again.. I will be hopefully using some by a designer. She is sending me a set of her patterns now for me to look over and then if I decide to use them, she and I will discuss how to go about it for the forum.
If you are interested in doing the BOM with us I would need for you to send me your phone number so I could contact you should you go offline for an extended time period. Then I could get you the patterns easily.
I love snowmen, I'm interested also. Once the chickens are done, I'll need something else to keep me busy! (Like I need another project but always room for snowmen!)
You can do the blocks ever how you wish because we will not be swapping them. You will keep your own so you can do them any way you wish... even think outside the box if you wish...
I don't have the patterns anymore, but someone here will have them, I believe it was called camelot redwork snowman patterns. I googled it and saw where someone blogged about it, you might ask her where to find the pattern!
