Tonight!! Can't wait. Like all the designers-don't really care, guess I prefer Uli. I'm a Fringe fan too and the 2 hour final and the end of the series is tomorrow night. Good but sad.
I too thank you for the reminder! Nancy, I fell asleep too, half-way through, so will be looking for last week's episode before the final. I like Uli but they all have a chance tonight!
Thanks for the reminder. Three repeat episodes are airing before tonight's final, so you can really catch up if needed.
I need to find out the name of that fabric store in Paris from last week's episode! Anyone watching the repeat - please try to help me catch the name. I'd love to see if they have a website that shows their fabrics up close.

Thearica - I take it you didn't like the judges decision - personally I didn't like Uli's designs except for the first dress but I didn't like all of the symetrical designs of Anthony's either
Here's what it sounded like to me: Rue Des Ingenues. (roo days onjenew) I'll have to see if that comes up if I google it. I enjoyed the show very much. I was rooting for Uli..thought her collection was very classy. Anthony Ryan did a wardrobe that was very wearable. 'Cept for the cut-out backs. Whatever happened to "but we have to wear BRAS?" The only piece in Emilio's that I thought was cute was the blouse with really long ties in the front! Didn't you like that?

I did catch the repeat & the store name. "Rue de _____" was the street. The store was Janssens & Janssens, but they only have a website "en construction" right now. However, I Google Image searched & found someone's blog with snapshots of the inside of the store. Fabulous!
Well, thanks to a 30-minute phone call @ 9pm last night, I missed everything but the judging session. I did manage to start recording when it became obvious that I was going to have to be on the phone. But from what I did see....
Possible spoiler alert!
I'd have put Emilio #3, AR #2, and Uli #1. I thought AR's was too run-of-the-mill to deserve the win. Yes, Uli had me wondering for awhile this season when she kept making white dresses or had skin showing in odd cut-outs (last week), but she got herself up to speed & knocked her collection out of the ballpark, I thought. I gasped when her models came out to stand with her! Not sure why the judges preferred AR's - YAWN - SEEN IT! - horizontal line/color block collection over Uli's dreamy new designs, but I guess I need to watch what I missed? (Or maybe the judges had pre-decided who they were going to award??)
Next week -- Heidi & Tim are back & it's not All-Stars, it's All-TEAMS. Yikes. From the previews, I may be saying a lot of "Quit fighting and sew."

I didn't like AR's collection either. Some okay but not all of them. Emilio's I only liked a few, Uli's I thought was best. I would have picked her too. Oh well, Tim is back next week!!
That was a disappointment. Poor Uli... I think she is just too darn nice to win a reality show! I loved her runway show - she really put a lot of thought into setting the mood. Her models freaked me out but in a good way! Loved the drama of her collection.
AR's collection was all dresses wasn't it? What about pants & jackets? The construction on that long white dress was a mess. I thought he should have gone home a few weeks ago for poor construction & fit issues but the judges LOVE him obviously.
Emilio's was interesting. I liked the bright colors he used and I loved the red jumpsuit (not on me!). I like his attitude.
But Uli's was the only one I rewatched a couple of times. She's my winner!
Ulli's was so bautiful! I see her designing for movies and the red carpet. Emelio's was so enjoyable...loved the red jumpsuit. His runway was really fun to watch. Even though I'm a fan of AR, that collection ws done in the 70's. Ugh. As my mom would have said," I lived through that era and I don't want to do it again." At least he didn't do shorts like the last of his season!!!! Whew...nobody did shorts.

Just caught the show on-line...I mean, really, don't you just LOVE Project Runway??? I get all nervous and excited watching it...every show! I love the challenges and fabrics and the talent.
I should have known AR won. He hosted a finale viewing party at the state museum in downtown Baton Rouge last night. Joshua was there, too. Thought it was kind of a sc*ew you when he backed out on helping AR with the final collection!

Alex: I like it a lot because I would love to whip up a dress from scratch on a mannequin. I always try them on myself as I go along and after years and years of it-I know where to change sizes on garments for myself for fitting.

I think the contestants have been on the PR website for awhile, if you want to check them out. I haven't had time to do that homework. I'll just watch "unprepared."
