I would like to make a quick gift for my SIL using a tshirt from her favorite pizza place. I only have one shirt and the useable part will be a rectangle. The shirt is light grey with green printing. Any design ideas for me? I know you guys are geniuses at this sort of thing!

You should look around for food fabric, look for what you might put on a pizza. Use it for multiple borders. Then piece the leftovers to make the backing. Post a picture when done. TerryOH

P.S. try looking on Bugfabric.com. or equilter.com TerryOH

I'm thinking of a braided runner with the t-shirt square in the middle. http://quiltbug.com/free/table-topper.htm

I think find pictures of Pizza and maybe a salad or some other food from there and print them off on fabric from your computer.. space them out as blocks with the t shirt block, then a borders of sauce color, then food that goes on the pizza, and another sauce color.. would be cute.

Now, this is a challenge. A pizza quilt. Sounds tasty.

Go to www.quiltshops.com and type in "pizza". There's a great fabric with sliced of pizza. I'd fussy cut some and make a semicircle for the ends of the table runner. So fun!
