ladies please bear with me while I put together a few more samples to show, I am working on them now. I was all prepared with a lovely video from the class I taught here, and lots of pictures, but unfortunately my laptop crashed and I didn't have it backed up...I could take more pics, but the items from the class were gifted to the sister of one of my Friday sit and sew ladies who lives in Western Australia, and is presently on holidays. Hoping to be ready topost pics of finished projects on the weekend.
My apologies Sandie...
Looking forward to seeing everyone...my flight is booked! Yipee...

What a line up. It will be hard to decide which ones to take. Thanks for each and evryone who volunteered their talents for this retreat and the chairperson for picking some great topics. Sue

I was helping out a neighbor this morning and was only on for a few minutes, not even long enough to see what was being offered. I have more time now and I'm loving the classes being offered. This is going to be a Greaaaaat retreat (think tony the tiger)LOL I don't know which ones to choose. I want to take them all, but will have to choose. By the 20th I should have an idea of what I want to take. Thanks to all the ladies who have volunteered their time to teach us something new. Pat
Oooh, great class line up and GREAT teachers! Sure would love to be there with you all! You will have a GREAT time with all of our stitch sisters! Looking forward to pix...
I see there are 15 classes that will be held & I want to take 10 of them. The problem is....I'm not coming to retreat... Y'all are going to have such a fantastic retreat!!!!

ladies, while you are thinking, think about this~ "If I could only take one, what is the one class I would like to take?" I am going to be asking for your first choice when sign up time starts, so be thinking about it, ok?
My Chevron placemat class comes compliments of Patty J and Sister Sue. They taught me how to make them. They also shared many pictures from their class and I wanted to share them here. There are so many pretty ones!
I believe these are examples from the class that they took:
This is going to be very tough to choose...I've gone through the selections numerous times already and I'm no where near a "decision" - what a wonderful lineup.

You all will have so much fun! I wish I were going but have my grandsons for a couple weeks and have to spend time with them when they are able to come too! I love the chevron placemats - would this be a possibility for a Friday night party this fall/winter? I'd love to learn to do one of them.
Here is a picture of the block I hope to have everyone who takes the paper piecing class make.

Those chevron placecmat are really fun to make, just have to be inspired by border fabric, which in our town is a little hard to come by. By tomorrow I'll have to decide what class I want to take. Just don't know which I want to do. Thinking Thinking.
Ok ladies~ tomorrow is the day, but no one has to stay up all night or jump through any hoops. I have given the teachers their choices for classes because I think it only fair that they are giving their time, they should get to take the class they want.
For everyone else, yes, I will ask what one class you want to take, and then I'll ask for a few alternates. You may or may not get everything you want. I am going to try to give everyone their first choice and then I'll work the schedule from there. Sound fair?
it's a 6" finished block - not sure yet just what we're gonna make with it. We have a couple of ideas we're bouncing around.
