I just read through this thread and re-lived all the FUN we had! Thank you retreaters! You were a wonderful group! I didn't even have a chance to look in my bag until Sunday night~~ and wow! I love the book and pattern I found in it. Smile And all the other goodies!! My new dish clothe is being used already! As well as my keychain! THANK YOU to everyone who made book covers, and all the little surprises we found in our retreat bags!

SDgranny (Mom), you DO rock! Getting all the batting packs donated, plus the batting for our classes was a major coup! And the door prizes were all fabulous!

I don't have any photo's off of my camera yet, but the challenge winners were~

Gonesewin: the beautiful birdhouse wallhanging~ loved the story behind it too Wink

Jayardi: the really intricate, octagonal table topper at the other end of the display

Me~ the table topper with the cut outs like WQFC's bookmark. I was being sneaky because I was sure everyone would think she made it! LOL

Will Quilt for Chocolate~ the spiral table runner (made with the wedge ruler)

Sister Sue: the place setting with the plate, bowl, mug, napkin, and mug rug

We had so many wonderful challenge projects! Had all of needlecrazy's votes been in the same category, she would've won by a landslide, unfortunately, her votes were scattered over all the categories. Your quilt was gorgeous Carol and you have the best remembrance of the challenge fabric~ there should be a category for that! Smile

Lindsay~ it was truly my pleasure to meet you and your wonderful family after all these years of PM's, emails, and phone chats! {{hugs}}

I know I have left off a lot, but my brain is still full and I am just coming down off my 'retreat high' and the week I spent with a quilting/stitching friend in KS. Smile

I had such a wonderful time - very tired once I got home. Miss everyone already. The committee did a fantastic job - so much work goes into organizing something like this - it truly is appreciated. Thank you!

Again, Great job to the committee, and all the friendly participants. I showed off my row robin at my quilt guild, and they were in awe how "strangers" could come up with such great designs. We will try to see if there is interest in our guild, and looks like it may be a go. Hope I can show some of the great pics of most of the row robin results. Thanks again.

Gemsq- nice to have met you-you were a good roomie. I was sooo tired the first few days I was home I didn't do a darn thing. I am still looking at Shauna's flowers, the pretty goodie bags, my bookcover made by blue snail and all the other gifts. Meeting the great ladies who quilt. Riding with Shauna was a hoot and also staying with chickie who worked so hard. Spending time with CBQ was an extra bonus. Thank you all for making my retreat perfect.

I also won a door prize...batiks!

AND when I got home today, I found a squishy on the table. ??? I opened it and found a bundle of 10 FQs and a pattern along with a note that my name was drawn again. Big Grin

The blessings and memories from COF Branson just keep coming!
