Option on the emerald 183. I may the last person on earth to know that this machine is being discontinued. I just bought on for $399 at JoAnn's. I was there checking to see if my Singer 401A was back from repair. Foolishly, I bought it untested on the guarantee of the sales lady to whom I often go to for sewing guidance. I haven't had it out of the box. Can anyone take a moment to give your opinion if you have some experience with it. AFTER purchase, I've been finding some really terrible reviews online.
