...that is reallycute... and easy! One could just use strips cut from ugly fabric to go along with some leftovers ... and have a pretty cute project..thanks for sharing.

I have rag rugs that I use for my dog Mya and she eats them. Maybe if I make this and Make the strips into a tube that has the raw edges hidden and put a little batting in place of the backing then sew it down Add backing at the end and pillowcase it Maybe just maybe she would keep this one a little longer--She doesn't like anything that has hanging things or lose parts. I have some ugly fabrics and I'm going to try.

It would make cute placemats too. And a layer of batting instead of the drawer line would work better for that.

Cute idea, but I wonder how it would wash with the drawer liner on the back? Unfortunately, my cats think that throw rugs = throw UP rugs... "No no, not on the Moda!" Eek

I could see placemats made that way, too (no need for that non-slip backing), or a table runner. Which again, my cats can't leave alone!! Mad They play Slip & Slide with a table runner. Roll Eyes

LOL - I had that window open to respond for quite awhile, and now that I finally got around to posting, I see that DD had the same idea I did! Smile Or vice versa. Wink
