Okay I finally did it. Couldn't resist. It was 314. with free shipping and I had a 10% off from paypal. I have always wanted an embroidery machine and think I got a good deal. It is refurbished and has a 30 day money back guarantee. Walmart.com has them new for 379. so I saved almost 100.

Thanks, Celine, I thought you had a Brother and liked it. I shouldn't have with husband out of a job, but sometimes you have to treat yourself and I really couldn't pass it up with the coupon from paypal. Now to get stuff hauled out from our daughter's room and move my stuff up. I would have thought that my husband would have done more since August but he is still trying to cope and it is getting worse as time goes by. He worked at Target at night so still has that and is picking up hours, but in 4 months we loose his severance. He is starting to panic. I think it is time to get some tough love going on. He needs to apply to more than one job every 2 weeks.

Patty, once you get the "how to"s figured out can you use it to get a bit of income with it? Even putting business names on shirts or golf towels, baby onesies, etc.

Glad you got one that you like. I have been getting back into more with my embroidery unit too.

Quilty Wife- I am hoping to make some income with it. Right now I go to college 3 days a week and have my grandkids the other 2 days and sometimes Saturday. I am only taking 2 or 3 classes and am having a hard time finding time. I don't know what the young kids do with the parties and school. Although it is a Christian college and they aren't allowed to do a lot of stuff. I really haven't done any sewing since starting school.

As a fellow - "later in life" student - I went back to school when my youngest was in high school and worked part-time. To this day I have no idea how I managed but I did and I have the degree now. I could never figure out how the younger students fit in so much social time either Big Grin I graduated with a 4.0 so my grades were probably better than most of them - I console myself with that Big Grin
