I was looking for this yesterday because I really want to do this one. I love the theme but mine will be much bolder in color. Thanks for posting!

I like this a lot & even considered doing it. However, it would make me do some hand embroidery (which I'm not good at) & a lot of applique. It may be to much for me to tackle. I'll keep an eye on it & decide later. Do you know if we can download the months free all during the year or will they cost or be taken off after each month?

Thanks so much for posting this site as my favorites have not been working. I'd love to add it but for some reason my favorites do not want to add or delete. Ugh! I plan to do this BOM so keep me on task!

I just clicked on this site and there are 6 previous BOM's and it looks like you could still download any of them. And there's no charge/cost I can see.

That's definitely a dream for those that enjoy applique. Cute.

The past ones are still there so no big hurry I don't think! So just at your convenience!
Nicki, it takes a LOT of practice for the embroidery and I've not done needle turn applique but want to learn. Have a lot of trouble with an inside curve, like on a heart. Finally got the point to look almost right tho! Maybe just do one block and frame it!!! Am sure some of us can help you!

I was wondering about that too Lois. I remember being in 7th grade math class and the teacher telling us we didn't need to learn the metric system because it wasn't going to be used by anyone. Who knew I would need it for quilting! LOL

20 cm converts to 7.87401 inches and 58 cm converts to 22.83464 inches. I plan to cut my background 8 by 23 inches.

I am thinking on this one! I really like it, and if I ever get my sewing room, (kids move out) I would love to have it on the wall. Do you think it would look ok if I blanket stitched instead of applique? I suck at applique!!

Thanks Deb, Just keep "converting" those measurements for me! Now, I feel like I can get started. There has gotta be an "app" for that.

Hi
I love the look of this one . My favorit thing is Applique.
If any of you have questions, my second favorit thing is helping people learn what I know. I pop in and out here not a regular any more but I would be if I was needed. You can ask me any questions if you want to learn new methods too. I just learned a new one the other day . It makes some things so much easier. If you want to check me out to see if I know what I am talking about or am very good at it ask Quiltaholic,Nicklee. I think one of my blocks was shown to the girls at retreat of COF

I did the first block. I did fusible machine applique, not needle point applique. The pin cushion turned out ok, not completely happy with it. But I love the way the dressmakers dummy turned out. This message has been edited. Last edited by: headielamar,

Jacky - the dressmakers dummy and the pincushion combined are 8 1/2" x 23 1/2" so it is good sized. I just printed it out the way it came - didn't resize it.

I found a good chart at www.metric-conversions.org I found the cm to inches category and clicked on the words show table. A very complete chart comes up and that is what I have been using. Good luck. This message has been edited. Last edited by: chanlady22,

I went to the website, that is very cute, but then I made the mistake of looking at the rest of them and love, love the Christmas..2008. What a dilemma! MOUNTAINLAURAL this IS all your fault.

RN55 you must be my sister. I love this one and printed out the patterns. I looked at all the other years also and the Christmas one was my next favorite one.
I looked at them also and liked several. I'm surprised that I have not seen this site before or that no one has mentioned this BOM in the past.

I started working on the March block last night. I am going to go ahead and do the I heart sewing banner underneath the sewing machine even though it isn't part of this month. That way the whole upper left corner will be done. I will post pictures soon.
