Just came back from our trash excursion. I found a really funny bead curtain. It's too messed up and broken to be still used as a curtain, but this is why I took it home: The 'beads' are plastic silver coloured crucifixes in two sizes, about half an inch and a bit less than one inch with tiny round beads in between. They cannot be detached from the strings (just as in those beaded X-mas tree garlands) so I can't use them as normal beads. But still I'm thinking I might make some sort of 'jewelry' with it. Any other ideas? Oh, well, otherwise next X-mas I'll hang them as garlands in my curb found X-mas tree, I have enough rows!

Could you use it for handles on jean purses (if you make jean purses). There is another message on jean purses with pics and they were using different objects for handles.

If you make bookmarkers; you could add a crucifix to the bottom. Alot of people use bookmarks in their bibles/prayer books and a nice crucifix hanging from the bottom of the bible will look very nice.

Maybe make something with the crucifixes for the sick people in the hospital or a nursing home. My brother was in ICU last month and it gave him peace to have his crucifix hanging from a metal bar on his bed.

    Have a nice day

I sent you a message with what I thought were good ideas but the admin has to review it first. They were very good and clean ideas. They were handles, bookmarks and something for the sick in the hospital.

I love this board, but from my experience with the admins here I'll never get that message. Could you try again? Maybe you can figure out which wrong word you used and leave that out... I'm curious now.

Looks like they went ahead and posted the message after all. It is the first message. They must have posted it today because they didn't post it yesterday evening. I only got a message that they had to review the message. So, that is when I sent you the second message. I figured they had to check out the idea about the bookmarks for the "books".
They need to give us a list of certain catch words that they don't want us to use.

It might have been the word c******x itself, though then it's strange they didn't review my initial post.
But thanks for the ideas! Decorating jeans purses is definitely something I'd do if I ever get around to making them. Actually I have a pile of curb found jeanses for that purpose. The strands aren't strong enough for the handles, but sewing them on somehow and make a sort of gothic style design sounds great.
