Slipcover ideas, please? Sign In/Join

Hello! I have an old hand-me-down (not cute) vintage love seat and chair that I desperately need to spice up a bit. It is a dark plaid, with wooden details on the arms and legs. I don't have the budget to reupholster at the moment, unfortunately. Any suggestions as to what type of slipcover I should look into to fit this type of design, or any other diy design ideas? Thanks for any suggestions!!

Friends gave us a beautiful Flexsteel couch
because they decided to get new furniture.
It is in excellent shape but is green/wine
plaid and my carpeting is wedgewood blue.
I got a brown microfiber cover from Boscov's (department store) and keep it covered.
Have decorative pillows to tie it all together and with the exception of having to reposition it periodically it is a good, cheap alternative.

You could always use a nice blanket or a king flat sheet to make a slipcover, and add the pillows as mentioned..
