Well after many months of nothing but a jigsaw (as some of yall know, my miter saw died, may it rest in piece), the dh got me a table saw for mothers day. see, sometimes they do listen (or maybe they dont want to hear us nag) LOL Whatever the reason I finally got a table saw. Cant wait to fire it up!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my table saw 2 months ago for my bd, and I love it! I use it all the time.
However they can be very dangerous. Please take a minute to check out this video. It's not to scare you, but to let you know what can go wrong.

It is what can happen when a tablesaw is used without the pawls.

Thanks for the safety video, Wendygail. A table saw can do some serious damage.

But don't you love the way you can do so much straighter cuts and get a more professional look on your projects with one?

It just makes then look more precise in every way.

Glad you got ur tablesaw...Know what ur gonna be do'in when it's raining and can't get outside...

NJ I did go to your link and it was helpful. i have used a table saw, but not much so I am extra cautious (sp). but hey at least its not as bad as a chainsaw. I have to use it sometimes and I absolutly HATE it.
