ga.karenNope, I've not ever seen anything like that.
How did your garden do this year?
Right now I have cabbage, broccoli, english peas, snap peas, carrots, radishes & lettuce growing. Getting ready to plant my onion plants I started from seed.

leesa -GAhey Ms Karen:
thanks for the response on the wooden Christmas tree, i so wanna use one like that for my Christmas tree this year.
as for garden, sighs, i have nothing growing at the time, I have had 2 major surgeries since July 30th and have just got back in the groove of things, laughs.
So I hope to get ground tilled and something planted, if it is not to late.

leesa -GAHey Ms Karen:
just wanna show you my recycled Christmas tree I am using in my house this year. I made it out of a mop handle and old lattice I took down from my front porch, and a 4x4 I had.
what do you think?

ga.karenOMG Leesa, they are gorgeous! You did a fantastic job with them! Your angel is great too.
You know, you need to start making this stuff & selling it, right? Do you have a flea mkt. or farmer's mkt. there where you could set up?
Is there a free cycle there where you could look for items to recycle? Or how about Craig's list in your area?

leesa -GAthank you mylife and gapeach. Ms Karen, i feel my work in not good enough to sell, but thank you for your kind words.
as for flea market/farmers market, there nearest one's would be in Thomasville or Tallahasse.
our freecycle stresses to take furniture and use it not to resale it. sighs. so i dont get things from freecyle.
sadly, there is nothing salavagable along our streets, the city picks it up so fast and me being outside the city limits a bit, i dont go into town but once a week and by then things are gone
but past week, i did find a baby changing table, gonna see what i can do with it.

Leesa, the person doing the work is always the most critical of it! I think they would sell out quickly! Your ideas are great and your craftsmanship is improving all the time!
Think I would choose Tallahassee to set up. Thomasville is too "clanny" for me! If you aren't one of "them" you just don't fit.
I went there for my Master Gardener classes a couple of years ago.
You could put an ad in Craig's list for recycleable items you could use & see if you get any responses. Lots of folks would rather have their throw away items used than them going to a land fill.
