About 6 months ago I found an old desk sitting on the side of the road which had been taken out when the family was evicted. I carried the desk 12 blocks which was a heck of a task and 4 days later I transformed it.
Now I am a decorative painter by trade and furniture is my main thing but I just want everyone to see what can be done to something that someone else finds ugly!

Can you believe people throw out such nice things just because they can't see past what time has put there? I just "saved" an old three drawer dresser with a drop leaf on one side from the trash heap. Once I get it finished I will post it as well. I am definitely hooked on reviving furniture. Awesome job you have done!! Love it, FauxNut!!

Yeah, I'm missing it too!! Or are we 'missing' the fact that it is painted "shabby chic"??

There was one.. real nice job too. But I am sure it's deleted. There were l links to stores on the post.

Perhaps they'll repost w/out the advertisement so we can see the transformation again.
