I have purchased four of these sconces and have somehow managed to break every single glass hurricaneFrown I still have the metal bases and have been thinking of painting them another color, but they don't look complete with something on top. It's been difficult finding another hurricane that will fit in the screw hole. Any ideas on how I can repurpose them? I'm open for creativity!

If you can find them, try a wire wine bottle candelabra. They make them in 2 or 3 candle cups & would look nice I think.
I went on the hunt for a hurricane last year & found a local place that had a bunch, all different sizes & shapes. Try www.rehouse.com & look under lighting. I think they ship. Give them the measuremments & they call let you know whnat they have.

If you don't want to go the sconce/candelabra route, how about using them as a wall hanging? Can the sconce attachment be easily removed? Or not - it could work with that remaining on the items.

If you hung them, placing the sconce attachments in the center, you'd have a sunburst. You could consider spray painting them. How about white? Or, construct another wall hanging.

Don't know if you feel their more valuable as sconces, however - so you might want to keep that option open.

Send us a photo, if you can.

All, JMHO.

Good Luck!

Not sure what happened to the original picture, but here's the complete sconce before I broke 3 hurricanes.

I like astroluvr's idea of arranging a sunburst and repainting. Or I can always do the candleabra thing. Thanks for the feedback!
