And alive, mostly! lol
We walked 103 miles, from Shenandoah thru northern Va, thru W Va, thru Maryland to the border of Penn. All in ten days. And no one lost an eye! Hooray!!
I sat around most of last week doing nuthin and just being tired.
I did get to the shop and build two things though. I will post them in a minute.
This first picture is how many miles I have now walked on the Appalachian Trail. (I have done less than half!)

A sample of this moss covered flat path. (Well, that's what everyone thinks anyway.)
This is my hiking partner.

A sample of some of the "ruins" that we pass by when we are in some areas of the trail.

Welcome back, Sharon!!!! We all missed you.

What a treacherous, yet beautiful trail. Thank goodness you are both safe and sound. Do you feel rejuvenated?

What a beautiful place! I admire your bravery and determination to walk the distance on such a rough terrain! Love all the pictures, especially the ruins. I love rocks..just don't want to walk on'em. Smile

Welcome back.
