If you have office picture manager you can resize there. Under the edit pictures button you select resize and bring it down to 400X600 and then it should let you post. I hope this helps... Smile

HI, I have had that problem myself, so I did a search on it in the trash to treasure message board and this is what I found. It worked for me, hope it works for you too!

For those who want to post pics, but don't know how, I'm writing a little tutorial...

First of all, you'll probably need to resize your picture, it's very likely too large an image, on here or at most other websites. Smaller images take up less space and post faster.

To do it for free click on http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

Use the Browse feature to find the pictures on *your* computer, and click on the picture you want. Pick the 600 pixel size, that should be pretty safe. Do not apply special effects, but choose *best* for image quality, and then hit number 5, Resize.

Remember to *save* your new picture. You can save it just as it is, and that will save the original to a smaller size. If you're not sure about that, you can rename the picture something else, and save it as that, so you'll have *both* the new and the old picture on your computer now.

    Easy peasy....

Ok, so you've resized the picture to an acceptable size, and you want to show us your fabulous work, (and we want to see it, visual creatures that we are!)

Open an new post, or reply to an existing post. Type your message and then look closely under the box you are typing in. See the "Add Attachment?" in red underline? Click on that.

Use the Browse button to find your resized picture on your computer, (whereever you saved it) click on your picture, and click on Open. This is how it works on my computer. This should bring you back to the post, and you'll see some writing inside the File Source box now. You can add a little description by typing in the (what else?) File Description box, next to the Browse box.

Once you've done that you are ready to post it with a picture! Hit Post Now, and watch the magic!!

As far as I can tell you can only post one picture per post, so if you want to add another one, you need to use "Reply" and type a blurb in the box, and add another attachment. You can do that as much as you want but you need to write something original in each post, not just "Here's another".
