    I have been wanting a gate. I saw one that was quite high and a basic rectangle of two by four.. then on the other side screwed or nailed in was cubed wood lengths. mybe the 1 1/2 inch cubed and pointed at the top. All painted.
    I wonder if the pallet would be too heavy to use as a gate? Maybe lightened up.

    I read the post about the flag pallet and it gave me the idea. Though I can never decide by myself, if things work.

    Sandy i made a sign base that resembled a picket fence from old pallets that i posted on here. If i had a lick of sense I could add the link but you can just type in "sign base from pallets" and it should come up. Hope this helps you.

    I've made small sections of fence from pallet wood, but I don't use the pallet as it is, I take it apart and reassemble the wood the way I want it.

    Particularly for a gate, the weight would make it cumbersome and probably not as attractive as it can be if you use the wood and design and construct a gate that isn't as heavy.
